ABOUT
↓
Growing up in Ecuador, as an Afro-Latina I practiced creating traditional native sculptures, such as año viejo, with my family. This way of creating art has been passed down through generations. Now, from the way I mix colors to the way I put marks on a page, I represent my culture and my roots in the art I make. I continue to use this ancestral voice in my creative work.
I got my BFA in Illustration at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design in Boston, MA.
I primarily do editorial illustration, digital marketing and e-commerce for medicinal cannabis companies, fine art installations for galleries in Texas and Massachusetts, graphic design for start up companies and entrepreneurs across the United States. I collaborate with indigenous artists to showcase their handmade art pieces in pop up markets.
I am grateful to make my passion a successful business as well as giving back locally and internationally. A portion of my profits are donated to EDUCATION, MENTAL HEALTH and SOCIAL JUSTICE.
